1. Controller and contact
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pipi Panic app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Feather Labs (collectively, the “Application”). Feather Labs is referred to in this policy as the “Service Provider”.
For privacy questions or requests, contact: featherlabs2026@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect and why
The Application is designed to operate without a Feather Labs user account. We do not currently ask you to create a profile, publish content, or provide a name, postal address, contact list, precise location, microphone, camera, photo library, or health data.
However, when you download, use, or interact with the Application, the Application itself and third-party services integrated into it may process the following categories of information:
- Device and network information: IP address, general location inferred from IP address, device model, mobile operating system, language, and technical identifiers.
- Advertising and app identifiers: resettable advertising identifiers and other device or app-set identifiers where made available by the operating system or advertising SDK.
- Usage and interaction information: app launches, screens or features used, taps, ad impressions, ad views, video views, and approximate time spent using the Application.
- Diagnostics: information about app performance, crashes, launch time, hangs, energy usage, and fraud-prevention signals.
- Support communications: information you choose to include when you email us, including your email address and the content of your message.
We use this information to operate and secure the Application, serve and measure advertising where enabled, understand technical issues, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Advertising, cookies, and similar technologies
The Application may use Google AdMob to display advertising. Mobile advertising SDKs can use device identifiers, SDK storage, pixels, and similar technologies rather than browser cookies. Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and the configuration of the advertising service, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.
Where consent is required before non-essential advertising or tracking technologies are used, the Application will request that consent through the relevant in-app privacy interface. You may also be able to change your advertising or privacy choices through your device settings and, where provided, the Application’s privacy options entry point.
The public Feather Labs website is a static informational website. It does not intentionally set Feather Labs analytics cookies. External services reached through links, including YouTube, Discord, X, TikTok, Tipeee, Google Play, and Google services, have their own policies.
4. Third-party services and disclosures
We may use third-party services to distribute the Application, process store transactions, deliver advertising, provide analytics associated with advertising, and prevent fraud. These services process data under their own privacy terms. The relevant services currently include:
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, advertising technologies may process identifiers and interactions for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Where that processing is treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law, you may exercise available opt-out rights through the in-app privacy controls, device-level controls, or by contacting us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the Service Provider, to investigate fraud or abuse, or to trusted providers acting on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal data only when a lawful basis applies. Depending on the context, this may include:
- your consent, such as when consent is required for non-essential advertising technologies;
- our legitimate interests in operating, protecting, improving, and defending the Application, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- performing a contract or taking steps requested by you, where applicable; and
- compliance with legal obligations.
6. International data transfers
The Service Provider and its third-party providers may process personal data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used, such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, another legally recognised transfer mechanism, or your consent where lawful and required.
7. Data retention and deletion
Feather Labs does not currently operate a user-account database for the Application. We retain support correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to the request, maintain records, protect our rights, or meet legal obligations; ordinarily, this is no longer than 24 months after the matter is resolved unless a longer period is required by law.
Data processed by Google Play, AdMob, or other third parties is retained under their own policies and systems. Aggregated or anonymised information may be retained longer where it no longer identifies you. You may request deletion of personal data held directly by Feather Labs, subject to any legal obligation to retain certain records.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
To exercise a right, contact featherlabs2026@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to the authority in your place of residence or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.
9. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information, as well as the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. Contact featherlabs2026@gmail.com to submit a request. You may also use applicable in-app or device-level privacy controls for advertising choices.
10. Children
The Application is not directed to children under 16 years of age, or a higher age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
11. Security and data breach notification
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect the personal data we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Application, third-party services, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. When required by law, we will obtain consent before material changes take effect. Previous versions are available on request at featherlabs2026@gmail.com.
